Scott is a University of Cape Town graduate and has spent his entire career working in adult and tertiary education as a lecturer, manager and leader. For the last 15 years he has discovered and leveraged the opportunities that digital education offers to the success of learners, teachers and institiutions.
Kate is an experienced operations and project management professional, working in healthcare, IT, edtech, and social impact for the last 20+ years in the US, UK, and South Africa. She has expertise in large-scale technology projects, mergers, program management, and service operations and is a former entrepreneur in the sustainability space in South Africa.
Nina has a PhD in Medical Biochemistry and a PGDip in Education from the University of Cape Town (UCT). After lecturing in the UCT MBChB Programme, she made a move from academia to ed tech when she joined the Business Development team at GetSmarter. For the past 8 years, Nina has seen the global ed tech world from many different angles.
John has held a variety of senior roles in client relationship management, business development, marketing, and operations. His career in higher education and ed tech has included roles at Harvard University and with 2U, where he worked closely with MIT to build a massive executive education portfolio. John is a relationship-first leader who has built enduring partnerships and programs with the world’s top education brands.
